Our yoga studio in Bangor has a 7-day-a-week timetable, free use of equipment, and is designed with an urban feel. It features natural cork flooring, infrared heating, big windows flooding in lots of light, and plenty of plants that help keep the air pure and fresh.
Our studio is available to hire for your event or your course of sessions.
We have a variety of yoga based equipment which you are welcome to use.
Chairs are available by request. We have a drinks making facilities available to avail of if needed.
Prices start from £22.50 for the first hour and £15 per hour thereafter, depending on individual needs.

As a beginner you should try to develop a regular practice in order to get your body used to moving in a new way. In order for this to happen, it’s helpful to practice in the studio at least 2 times per week. Studio classes provide the structure and support that you as a new student needs in order to learn alignment and sequence.
As a new student you may experience muscle soreness in the first few weeks of starting a yoga practice. It can be a combination of using muscles in a different way as well as challenging those muscles to do more. Sometimes, you also experience a deep release in very tight muscles, like hamstrings, hip flexors and muscles of the chest and this can lead to soreness too. This is normal and will subside as your body get more used to the practice.
As a general rule of thumb is you should not come to yoga on a full stomach but you should have eaten something at least 1 hour before (more if possible). Also, you should be well hydrated. Be mindful of coming to yoga after a night of drinking, heavy eating or after just getting off a long flight.
Typically I suggest 8-10 ‘Yoga Basics’ classes before going into a mixed level class. However, you can go to any class and use the guideline of ‘doing what you can’, keeping an open mind, resting when you need to and doing your best.
On the other hand some people prefer to stick with the Basic classes for personal reasons. This is of course also ok. Find what you feel most comfortable with.
Saying that some people also come to any class…whenever their busy lives allow!
We provide communal yoga mats for everyone to use. However, feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer. We also sell sticky yoga mats if you are wanting to invest in one.
Bring a layer of clothes to put on at the end of class for relaxation; including socks. You could also bring extra blankets if you need extra warmth.
Other than that…just bring your good self!
Wear something comfortable and unrestrictive. You need to be able to move around freely.
You don’t want to have to keep adjusting your clothes after each time you bend down. Find something to wear that won’t distract you.
The use of blocks, straps and blankets will not only enhance your practise but can provide critical assistance to a beginner. Using props have nothing to do with experience and are helpful to use regardless of how many years you have been practicing.
The studio is comfortably warm (with the exception of specific Hot Yoga classes). You need to be well hydrated before the class to ensure that you are practicing safely. People are often surprised to find that the practice causes you to get hot and sweaty.
Most people are eager to see changes. This is a wonderful attitude (as long as it stays healthy) and can provide the needed encouragement to keep you coming to the mat and your practice at the studio. The more regularly you practice, the faster you may begin to see changes. You need to be present to them; things like soreness can signify that you have started to work dormant muscles (as above) and changes in weight, strength, flexibility and overall body tone can change as well. However, be aware of positive changes in you stress levels too, improvement in sleep patterns, better focus, an overall feeling of relaxation after you leave class and a greater ability to stay connected to your body. These are all important and rewarding feelings and will help you recognise that the benefits and impact of yoga goes much more than skin deep.
